The Cardoza household is looking suitably festive, the 3 mini me's are overly excited, this can only mean one thing, Christmas is nearly here!
So how do you prepare in your household? Do you have traditions that you follow? A special place that you visit?

For us it is a trip to Mousehole, a lovely little harbour village way down in the south of Cornwall. We all look forward to it every year, once the girls and Mr C have finished for the holidays we head down late afternoon to go and ooo and ahh at the amazing light display they have down there, we always stop off for tea on the way down,( In a well known fried chicken place :) )  This is all part of the excitement for the girls. We started a new little tradition last year, there is a lovely gift shop in Mousehole that sells glass Christmas decs, so we picked one up last year, a lovely red glass bell with a snowman painted on it, putting it on the tree this year gave us a warm fuzzy kind of feeling. You know the one I mean, the one that makes you think ,yep this is my happy place!. Any way we are going to undertake the hour and a half ish trek again this year, as we will do every year (I hope) and we will go into that same gift shop and purchase another little token for the Cardoza tree. And hopefully when our girls are all grown up they will look upon these memories with fondness and perhaps carry on the tradition, or start their own, with their own families.
